The 2023 MLB Draft gets underway from Seattle with Day 1 coverage Sunday night. Teams will make the first 70 picks of this year’s draft as All-Star Week kicks off from the Pacific Northwest.
The Pirates have the first overall pick and are believed to be taking an LSU star — either pitcher Paul Skenes or outfielder Dylan Crews. Here’s how to watch this year’s draft:
How can I watch coverage on TV? When will it air? On what TV channel? - Day 1 coverage will begin at 7 p.m. ET from Lumen Field in Seattle. All 70 picks can be seen on MLB Network, MLB.com, ESPN and, for the first time, ESPN+.
Live stream options: ESPN+ | fuboTV | MLB.com - Viewers who have cable can use login credentials from their TV provider to watch via ESPN or MLB Network. Fans who don’t have cable can also watch the game with a la carte streaming options such as fuboTV, which has a free seven-day trial.
Day 2 of the draft (Rounds 3-10) will be streamed live on MLB.com on Tuesday starting at 2 p.m. ET.

LSU outfielder Dylan Crews is, according to Tigers coach Jay Johnson, “the perfectly built baseball player.”
Power. Speed. Defense. Smarts. There is little Johnson believes Crews can’t do.
“He’s the best college hitter I’ve ever seen,” Johnson said.
Such are the riches Johnson and LSU enjoyed this year on the way to the national title that for all of Crews’ singular talent, depending on who you ask Crews might not even be the best major league prospect on his team.
